The Pivot lamps were born from an idea of the Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada. These modern lamps allow you to create infinite stylistic and luminous possibilities, using a single light point. It is a lighting system made up of three interdependent elements: a small cylinder inside which the LED source is located, two superimposed rotating rings that allow each single light source to be connected to two tubular metal channels, thus giving rise to a modular and linear system that allows you to bring lighting wherever you want. Pivot lamps are a luminous element with which to “play” and illuminate the rooms, both from a functional and an aesthetic point of view. The design of the Pivot lamps is inspired by the hishaku, a bamboo ladle used in Japan to get water with which to wash your hands before entering a shrine. Pivot can contain from two to ten light points and thanks to the tubular channels available in various lengths it can extend up to 10 meters, ideal for creating customized lighting projects. The dimmable LED source is housed in the cylinder in a recessed manner, offering high visual comfort, with approximately 6.4 W it develops 700 lumens. The drivers are located inside the ceiling rose and power the entire system. The Pivot system can also be used for the suspension version, it has been designed to be compatible with four other models of Axolight suspension lamps: Jewel Mono, Liaison, Urban mini and Virtus.
