Cini&Nils, is an Italian lighting company founded in 1969 by the designers Mario Melocchi and Franco Bettonica. Its mission from the beginning has been to aim for the excellence of the Made in Italy product. In 1972, the Cuboluce lamp was conceived, the progenitor of a generation of items that will mark the company's entry into the lighting sector. Cini&Nils, boasts 50 years of presence on the market and is now well established as a point of reference in the field of high-end decorative and technical lighting.

Collaborations with designers
From the collaboration of designers Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi, lamps are born that have marked the history of lighting such as the Cuboluce table lamp, the design lamps Gradi, Tenso and TensoClic. The designer Luta Bettonica, on the other hand, designs lamps such as Assolo, Acqua, Convivio with the involvement of the sculptor Christiane Beer. To which are added in 2018 the collaborations with the architect Alessandro Scandurra and in 2020 with the architect Giancarlo Leone.
The awards
The Acqua lamp designed by designer Luta Bettonica won the prize in the “lighting” category of the “Muuuz International Awards” in 2015 and received an honorable mention at the Codega Prize for design aspects and the adoption of the most advanced technologies. Acqua lamp allows you to obtain infinite structural configurations thanks to the sectional modules, furnishes rooms with its sinuous and elegant shapes. In 2020 the Ognidove lamp wins the Archiproducts Design Awards, dedicated to design excellence in the world.
