Costantino Morosin

Costantino Morosin
Costantino Morosin, born in Veneto in 1950, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and graduated in scenography. After a period of work in Africa for FAO and WWF, he moved to Milan, then Turin and Rome where he founded the weekly Time Out - A Roma cosa c'è. He is the first in Italy to have created digital images and interpolations, undertaking, with the creation of the Art Hologram, a creative cycle between media and technology. At the center of his work are the natural environment and the use of local materials, becoming a precursor of epochal artistic trends. In 1996, together with Anna Demijttenaere, he founded the “Opera Bosco” Museum of Natural Art. Among his various talents we also see the creation of sculptures in tuff and stones, glass and terracotta. Among his most famous works we remember the "Thrones of Calcata" and the "Trilithic Horses of Castelfranco" which are three dolomen composed of travertine monoliths. Like three large doors, they symbolize the past, present and future, greeting the third millennium. Since 2002 he has focused on the international design of “Signa”, that is artistic works based on GPS satellite tracks. For SLAMP he designed the Fabula suspension.
