Emmanuel Babled was born in 1967 and graduates from the European Institute of Design in Milan, with a specialization in Industrial Design. In 1992 he opens a design studio in Milan, and realizes works for lighting and furnishing in limited edition for some of the most important and successful international companies. The lamps by Emmanuel Babled are created after the artist's profound contact with the place of production: Babled, in effect, is deeply convinced that the best projects are the result of immersion in extraordinary local cultures. He has worked extensively with the Murano glass and the Carrara marble. During his career, the projects of Emmanuel Babled have been exhibited in major museums. Since 2001, he has collaborated as a visiting professor at the Domus Academy in Italy and the Design Academy in Eindhoven. For several years he is designated the European Institute of Design as a director for the Master "Glass and Venetian Art". In his collaboration with Vistosi, he puts his signature on the "Ferea" collection of lamps: unique shapes made possible thanks to the use of the exclusive "waterjet" cut: a series of lamps of supple shape, with white and bright diffusers in white satin glass, available in the suspension, applique, floor and table variants.
