Jonas Clementoni
Jonas Clementoni born in Brussels in 1983, studied modeling at the Art Institute of Civita Castellana and then moved on to the design of means of transport while studying industrial design at the La Sapienza University of Rome. Thanks to his works he participates in numerous exhibitions, workshops and competitions in Italy and abroad. According to his point of view, architecture, art and design play an increasingly important role. He is particularly interested in the applications of bionics and technologies. The study of percussion instruments leads him to reflect on the structural influence of rhythm in the different cultures of the world. His interest in ecology leads him to design means of transport aimed at being biological both in form, in matter and in energy. In 2008 he designed the "Las Palmas" lamp for SLAMP, as a formal expression of the energy that trees use to search for light. His profession led him to live between three countries: Italy, Argentina and Uruguay.
