Lucie Koldova

Lucie Koldova is a designer with a great creative talent, originally from the Czech Republic. After graduating from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, she moved to Paris where she started collaborations with various French and foreign companies. In 2010 she created her first design collection called Balloons and Muffins. In 2012 she opened her studio in Paris which is currently based in Prague. Lucie Koldova's artistic expression is the result of the combination of different cultures with her own sophisticated and charming personal style. Lucie's field of work is very broad, ranging from unique pieces of furniture, to glass sculptures for museums, to everyday objects. But the creative interest of this artist is mainly focused on lighting and the innovative use of materials such as glass, wood and metal. Her works are recognizable for the accentuated contrasts, the unusual proportions and the particular use of colors. For the Fabbian brand she designs the Lens design lamps. These are decorative lamps made up of large metal discs. Proposed in the ceiling lamp and chandelier version and in various bronze, rust and satin burnished finishes. Mainly suitable for contract contexts.
