Marco Dessí
Marco Dessì is a highly appreciated Italian designer. He studied industrial design at the Vienna University of Applied Arts. In 2008, again in Vienna, he founded his design studio working for numerous international clients such as Lobmeyr, Augarten or Richard Lampert, and cultural institutions on projects ranging from furniture and product design to spatial solutions. The approach used by the designer Dessì is practical and collaborative, the design according to his vision is an interactive process. Dessì focuses on the continuous experimentation of materials and processes that can be subsequently applied to commercial projects at an industrial or artisanal level. Dessí's studio deals with multiple design styles by considering design as an activity characterized by a deep understanding of materials, processes and how these two aspects are connected to each other. For the lighting company Lodes he created the Cima suspension lamp characterized by a diffuser that slides along a rope by means of a joint. This design lamp can be locked and rotated at will to customize the lighting of your environment as you wish.
