Mario Melocchi
Born in Parma, Mario Melocchi is one of the first designers in Europe to have dedicated himself to packaging design. His career continues focusing on product design. In 1969 he met Franco Bettonica with whom he worked on the creation of the Cini&Nils brand. Mario Merlocchi also collaborates in the design of Cuboluce, a very famous table lamp, still appreciated today for its innovative design. This table lamp shows the typical features of the Italian design of the seventies, through the refined use of high quality plastic and simple and minimalist lines.
