Kartell is the Italian company, world leader in the creation of design objects. Born in 1949, it is recognized for its iconic creations, made with completely recyclable materials. Kartell's mission is to be able to design something that is always new, in step with the times. The continuous study of original and performing materials has given the brand the possibility to patent its research. A brand that has made transparency its strong point
Kartell's turning point has only one name: polycarbonate. In fact, it is the first company to have used it, giving life to a new design approach. The final project took on results never seen before and, thanks to La Marie, the brand's first chair, the brand becomes a symbol of product transparency.

Innovation in step with ecology
The Kartell manifesto is based on three fundamental principles: Wood, Bio and Recycled. It is committed to protecting and supporting the environment, creating completely recyclable products with zero impact on the environment. The wood (Wood) is worked through a patented mold, trying to use the material without waste. Bio, on the other hand, is a revolutionary material, made by taking the waste from agricultural production, and finally Recycled is the 100% recycled thermoplastic technopolymer.

Kartell boasts numerous international collaborations. This opportunity has allowed the company to make itself known worldwide with an innovative product catalog and above all with a wide choice of products. The major collaborations took place with Vico Magistretti, Achille Castiglioni, Joe Colombo, Piero Lissoni and Ron Arad.
The awards
Kartell boasts numerous international awards on different divisions of the brand. With its extensive catalog it can boast awards for its seats, tables and sofas. In the field of lighting, it received the Red Dot Award 2017 with the presentation of the Aledin Tec lamp.
