Astep
Astep is a lighting brand with a long history of design. Astep was born at the behest of Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, founder of Arteluce in 1939 and son of Riccardo Sarfatti who created Luceplan in 1978
Astep lamps are based on an innovative design concept and offer a large catalogue of home lighting items characterized by a timeless style.
Among the most iconic lamps of the brand, we find the Model 548 table lamp and the Model 2065 chandelier made in the 1950s. These are cutting-edge lamps created by the master of design Gino Sarfatti with a plastic polymer that is much lighter and more resistant than glass, extremely innovative for the time. In the reissued editions, the original incandescent bulbs have been replaced by LED sources discretely integrated into the original design.
