Luca Nichetto
Luca Nichetto is a young Venetian designer, very appreciated for his innovative, highly sought-after design projects ranging from objects to furniture and accessories. After graduating in industrial design in 1998 at the Iuav of Venice, Nichetto immediately began his professional career working alongside Salviati, the historic Murano glass factory, later becoming a consultant for the Foscarini lighting company. In 2006 he founded his first design studio in Venice and in 2011 he founded a second studio in Stockholm. Nichetto has worked for numerous international brands developing an in-depth knowledge of the design industry. In addition to working as a designer, Nichetto has also worked as a design professor at the Iuav University of Venice and has been a member of juries for many international design competitions. For the Lodes company he designs the Easy Peasy table lamps. These are portable and rechargeable lamps, with a minimal design reminiscent of dolls. The soft and rounded shapes are made special by the careful combination of the colors of the structure and the diffuser. The Easy Peasy lamps are ideal for lighting the bedroom or living room.
