Discover the innovation of LED lamps
Nowadays LED technology has made giant steps and has spread all across our daily life.
The choice of the lighting for your home usually takes into account the size and the style of the room in which the LED lamp must be positioned. Recently, however, the technical innovation and performance of LED lights are the central concern among consumers.
LED lamps of design
Today LED lamps, first in terms of technology, are also excellent pieces of furniture thanks to their intriguing design. Thanks to the different types of the colour temperature of light and its emission range, they have inspired designers to create modern chandeliers and LED lamps that amaze with their innovative shapes.
The use of LEDs makes it possible to create astonishing glares and create unique decorative effects.
The most famous lighting brands like Artemide, Linea Light and Faro have created many LED lamps for all home environments, designed for illuminating, but also to become real design furnishings.
Why choose LED technology
One of the advantages of buying a LED lamp is their long-term use, because the average lifespan of a LED goes from 30,000 to 50,000 hours of work, compared to the 7,000 of halogen bulbs.
Also, their energy saving shouldn't be neglected because, although the LEDs have a higher initial cost, they allow you to consume 85% less than the halogen, and then to amortise the investment in a short time. Less energy consumption, therefore, avoids waste and at the same time ensures greater regard for the environment.
The light produced by LED lamps is undoubtedly safer, as it is free of infrared and UV rays and ensures exposure in total safety, both for the eyes and for the skin.
In addition to these characteristics, LED lamps stand out because they have a lower temperature, do not heat up and can, therefore, be used near sensitive surfaces, such as plastic and wood. Having a lower temperature than other lamps, they are subject to slower damage and are not afraid of thermal shocks and impacts.
