Between all, Lumiere assert itself like the principal lamp in Foscarini collection, loved by the audience for almost thirty years, it is distinguished by the harmonious and elegant lines of the blown glass lampshade and the alloy tripod support made of aluminum. Designed in 1990 by designer Rodolfo Dordoni and proposed like a revisitation of the classic abat-jour, Lumiere on the occasion of its 25th anniversary has been renewed and presented in a special mirror metallic finish. From the first version of Lumiere have followed the Lumiere XXL and XXS, new models in dimension and proportions beyond the aesthetics, especially suitable for living rooms furnishing.
Particularly appreciated for its seductive aesthetics, the Rituals table lamps, rappresents for Foscarini a brand new way to working the blown glass. Rituals floor lamps reminds in their shape the Japanese rice-paper lanterns and are characterized for their large volumes of the lampshade, decorated with horizontal lines etched on the surface, that gave them a materic effect. This effect, almost chalky, is obtained through a particular procedure that provides an immersion in acid. Very loved are also the Caboche table lamps, wich light diffuser reminds a jewel and the Gregg table lamps, with their characteristic smooth and irregular shape of a stone polished by the river. Last but not least, the Twiggy table lamp that is appreciated for its essential lines and the graphic sign of the famous floor version.
