Essential lines and neutral colors: it is the Minimal Style

Minimalism developed during the 1960s and represents a completely different movement from previous artistic currents.The minimal art is based on the concept of reducing expressivity and personality, playing with the linearity through the use of elementary geometric shapes.

As it often happens, art becomes part of everyday life, contributing with its own characteristics to influence also some aspects of furnishing. The colors that fully represent minimalism are white, black and gray, neutral and basic tones.
To express a sort of purity, materials such as wood, glass and stainless steel are used.

Everything revolves around the concept of essentiality of space, in which every element must be arranged in a precise and studied way and no disorder or disorganization is granted. Even the light is a fundamental aspect of the minimalist style, because to create a natural effect, it must be studied in detail and must provide minimal lamps, both in the lines and in the colors.
