Amedeo G. Cavalchini
Amedeo G. Cavalchini was born in Milan in 1967 and graduated in Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic in 1994. In 2003 he founded his architecture firm and began his career making important architectural works, urban landscape works, taking care also of the designing of commercial premises and indoor design both in Italy and abroad From 1994 to 2015 Amedeo G. Cavalchini collaborates with Luceplan SpA, a company of the Philips group for which he designs various products.
In 2009 together with Ing. Chiodaroli founds Litelab, an area of his studio that deals with Lighting Design and becomes a professor of Lighting Design at NABA in Milan and at IED in Milan. His works receive important awards and prizes, including the Tiziana Mascheroni award at the Young and Design competition organized by the Rima publishing company. Amedeo G. Cavalchini signs the design of the "Sibylla" lamps for the Lumen Center Italia company. These lamps available in several suspension, ceiling or floor versions are distinguished by their essential design and single or double light emission.
