Brogliato Traverso

Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso are two young designers trained at the University of Architecture in Venice. After various professional experiences they founded the Brogliato Traverso design studio. Theirs is a method of working by subtraction. The objects drawn are characterized by simple and elegant shapes. Experts connoisseurs of materials such as glass and ceramics create for the Fanale, Alchimia, a family of contemporary lamps ideal for furnishing modern environments. The characterizing element of these lamps is the glass diffuser, available in 5 shapes to take advantage of the wonderful effect of the transparency of the glass and the brightness of the refined brass finishes. Also designed to create multiple compositions by combining the various speakers. The two designers have collaborated not only for Il Fanale but also for numerous other brands on the international scene, including Cappellini, F.lli Guzzini, Magis, Haworth, Infiniti and others. Many of these collaborations have led to international awards, such as the Red Dot Design Award, the German Design Award, the iF Design Award and the Good Design Award.
