Mario Tedeschi
Mario Tedeschi was born in 1920 in Milan. The passion for design was born immediately, prompting him to start his studies at the Milan Polytechnic, attended together with Piero Portaluppi. He began working as an architect designing the churches of S. Marcellina, S. Maria Goretti and San Giovanni Bosco. Among his best known projects we see the floor lamp created with Vico Magistretti in 1946, Claritas, which was exhibited at the Triennale as a symbol of the turning point in the production of the Italian military industry. From 1949 to 1959 he participated with Vico Magistretti in the collective enterprise of QT8, designing homes for veterans of Africa and the Church of Santa Maria Nascente (1947 -1955).
