Arihiro Miyake
Arihiro Miyake, born in 1975 in Kobe in Japan, is a designer who, after his studies at the design faculty of his hometown, moves to Finland to continue his education. Attended a master's degree in furniture and spatial design at the Helsinki University of Art and Design, he began his career as an interior designer developing projects for restaurants for a Japanese company. He has worked with great designers such as Illdra Suppanen and Yrio Wiherheimo. During his stay in Finland, in 2004 he founded his first personal studio “Studio Arihiro Miyake”. Among his projects, the architectural exhibitions of furniture and lamp design are noteworthy. Among the best-known creations are In The Wind family of lamps, with a spiral shape, Kepler, with a well-known structure with intertwined rings and Titia, a suspension lamp with a geometric structure reminiscent of a honeycomb. Arihiro seeks immortality in aesthetic structures amidst technical and innovative challenges.
