Enrico Azzimonti
Enrico Azzimonti was born in 1966 and studied architecture graduating in 1993 at the Milan Polytechnic. In 1994 he opened his design studio dealing with both architectural and industrial design projects. In 1998 he began his collaboration with the designer Jordi Pigem. During his professional career he had the opportunity to collaborate with the IUAV of Venice and San Marino, the La Sapienza University of Rome, the Istituto Marangoni of Milan and since 2006 he has been teaching at the IED in Milan. His projects appreciated both in Italy and abroad are present in competitions, presentations and important exhibitions. The Museu de les Arts Decoratives in Barcelona hosts a selection of his works. In 2017 he received the Platinum A'Design Award at the Street Furniture Design Competition. Enrico Azzimonti also collaborates with numerous companies such as TVS, Fretelli Gizzuni, Lavazza, Jvc and Coop. For Lumer Center Italia, he signs the collection of "Foliage" lamps, wall lamps and ceiling lamps with an essential design.
