Giancarlo Fassina
Giancarlo Fassina, a designer from Milan, began his career as design manager for a company that produced endothermic engines and then worked in the technical department of the lighting company Artemide with the task of prototyping new products, specializing in the lighting equipment sector. Fassina also designs numerous exhibitions for events such as: lighting the exhibition "Hayez" at the Palazzo Reale in Milan, the great hall of the Brera Academy, the new Fossati theater in Milan, the exhibition "Il progetto domestico" at the Triennale.
The designer Giancarlo Fassina designs together with architect Michele De Lucchi the Tolomeo lamp for the Artemide brand, winning the ADI golden compass award in 1989.
