Roberto Paoli
Roberto Paoli is an Italian architect and designer. After his studies at the University of Florence, he devoted himself to the design of furnishing accessories. Since 2001 he has been constantly collaborating with NEMO Lighting, eventually leading to the creation of the Tru lamp, winner of the Interior Innovation Award in 2014. In 2002 he founded a multifunctional space called Seminato Mercadante, home to his studio and exhibition space. Seminato Mercadante is also the name he chooses for his line of self-produced objects of strong research, experimentation and innovation. In addition to the design of lamps, he is also seen as a creator of laptop bags and notebook feet. Roberto Paoli also deals with architecture, designing homes, shops and showrooms, displays and exhibition stands. He has won the Chicago Good Design Award four times in a row for Nemo Lighting's Flight Linear wall lamp. He is the creator and curator of cultural and design exhibitions, initiatives and events including an exhibition held at Hangar Bicocca in 2005.
