Alfredo Häberli
Alfredo Häberli is an internationally renowned Argentine designer who lives and creates in Zurich. With a long career behind him, Häberli has worked for some of the most important companies in the design sector, such as BMW, Georg Jensen, Kvadrat, Moroso and Vitra. In his work, Häberli seeks to merge tradition and innovation, creating products and projects full of joy and energy. His inspiration comes from his childhood spent in Argentina and his constant curiosity and study. The result is a highly expressive and emotional work, which has earned numerous exhibitions in Europe and prestigious awards, including the Swiss Grand Prix for Design from the Federal Office of Culture in 2014. His largest project to date, the 25hours Hotel Zurich West, opened in 2012 and Häberli has created over 60 products for the hotel. For the lighting company Astep he designed Nox, a portable table lamp perfect for illuminating any environment, both indoors and outdoors. With up to fifteen hours of burn time, you can enjoy its warm, welcoming light all night long. Its charging base, cylindrical aluminum body and round mouth-blown opal glass diffuser make Nox an elegant and functional choice.
