Eugeni Quitllet
Eugeni Quitllet is a Catalan designer, he studied in Barcelona starting his professional career alongside Philippe Starck. He has traveled a lot abroad cultivating the desire to collaborate with large companies with a global reach. In 2011 he returned to Barcelona and founded his own studio.
In the field of design he is a multifaceted and visionary figure, he manages to blend his creativity with the principles of industrial design, shaping the material into new forms. He created best-selling objects such as the Strong stools by Desalto, the Love chairs and the Ibiza series by Vondom, the Satellight lamps by Foscarini and Light Air by Kartell.
Light Air made for Katell is a modern abat-jour in transparent thermoplastic technopolymer characterized by a diffuser covered in pleated fabric proposed in shades of beige, pink or blue. Delicate, minimal and romantic, Light Air amazes with its reinterpretation of the classic design in such a modern guise suitable for all contexts.
