Stefano Giovannoni
Born in La Spezia in 1954, Giovannoni studied architecture and design at the University of Florence under the guidance of the famous professor Buti. In the 1980s he founded the King-Kong Production group together with Guido Venturini, starting an artistic collaboration that led to the creation of some of the most innovative and original works ever seen in the field of design. However Stefano Giovannoni's true genius lies in his incredible talent for understanding the public and for transferring the complex system of "affective codes" into his projects.
Thanks to this ability, Giovannoni became the champion of the "Super & Popular" of the 90s, winning the hearts of millions of people around the world with his incredible projects.
One of Giovannoni's first successes was the "Girotondo" tray, designed in 1989 together with Guido Venturini. From that moment on, Stefano Giovannoni continued to innovate and amaze with his projects, creating a series of plastic play objects for the "Family Follows Fiction" series in 1993.

In 2016, Giovannoni founded the Qeeboo brand, giving vent to his creativity, creating numerous design lamps including Kong, Scottie, Rabbit, Teddy Boy, Teddy Girl, Golden Brothers, Sweet Brothers.
