Atelier Oï
L’Atelier Oï is a group composed of three designers Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond, that works on international projects, ranging between architecture, indroor, product design, and scenography. A great collaboration that lastes since 1991. The projects of Atelier Oï are born from the fusion of the studies and disciplines of each designer. It is precisely this multidisciplinarity that helps and amplifies the creative process of their projects. Geographically, the Atelier Oï is located in the ex Motel de la Neuveville in Switzerland. It covers about 900m² and consists of a laboratory, offices, a photo studio and an exhibition gallery. The Atelier Oï has been awarded with numerous international awards. Among the main ones we mention only a few: the IF Design Award in 2003 for the Röthlisberger Tour d'Oï shelf; among the most recent design projects we mention the Allegro and Allegretto suspension lamps made for Foscarini and awarded in 2008 as a product of the year by Architectural Record; the Bern Design Prize in 2012 of the Bernese Design Foundation as a successful designer in the fields of Design, Architecture, Interior Design and Scenography; the Design Preis Schweiz in 2015 in the Furniture category of USM Modular Furniture.
