Marco Piva was born in Milan in 1952 and is an Italian designer and architect. In 1976 he graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan. In 1990 he founded the design studio and deals with indoor design of tourist facilities, residential and public area design at an international level. From 1987 to 1990 he joined the Council of the Association for Industrial Design (ADI), and in 1987 he founded the International Design Agency, which becomes the Italian interface of the World Design Network. In 2002 he created "Atelier Design", a branch of his studio completely dedicated to lighting design and product design. Since 1999 he has been teaching in universities and design institutes both in Italy and abroad. His works have received prizes and awards such as: the mention of Honor Compasso d'Oro ADI XXII Edition, the ADI Design Index in 2010 and the World Travel Awards in 2015. Marco Piva signs for the brand Ma&De the lamps "Flurry ", Ceiling lights and modern wall lamps available in various sizes suitable to illuminate domestic interiors but also offices and shops.
