Giancarlo Mattioli
Giancarlo Mattioli, a successful Italian designer, is famous for having designed the Nesso table lamp for the Artemide brand, a best-selling lamp in the '70s best and with today's design. The Nesso lamp became part of the Museum of Modern Art collection in New York and other prestigious museums, and in 1965 won the first prize at the Studio Artemide / Domus Competition. Mattioli was the founder in 1960 together with other colleagues of the Urbanist Architects Group "Città Nuova".
