Enrico Franzolini
Enrico Franzolini was born in Udine in 1952, he began his academic studies at the universities of Florence and Venice, graduating in architecture in 1979. He deals with both architecture and product design. In the field of industrial design he had the opportunity to collaborate during his professional career with some of the most important furniture companies such as Alias, Cappellini, Foscarini, Knoll International, Moroso. In 1999 he received the honorable mention at the Compasso d'oro award in Milan for the chair produced by Crassevig and in 2005 he won the Reddot Design Award Winner for the Lagoa chair of Accademia. There are also numerous architecture projects that has followed, including the offices of Calligaris spa in Manzano, the offices R.I.F spa, the Mercedes showroom and Crysler Jeep in Udine and Pordenone, the Tower for offices and the Antivari shopping center in Udine. For Foscarini he designed the Big Bang lamp together with the designer Vicente Garcia Jimenez, which is striking for its extravagant shape made up of crossed tops that evokes the image of an explosion.
